Reclaimed Spruce Shelf

$400.00

DIMENSIONS: 41.5" tall X 26" wide at the base X 12" deep.

Marc Deloach hand built this functional shelf from spruce wood that was salvaged from a Vermont house built in 1815. The piece features weathered boards with interesting textures and old nail holes original to the reclaimed wood. The color is a light brown caramel. Marc sanded and de-splintered the wood preserving the weathered look. He arranged the six shelves of differing sizes at various heights on the angled centerboard for their best function and eye appeal. The shelves are firmly secured with weathered bridge nails. He finished it in tung oil and hand waxed it for a smooth feel. His signature is branded on the bottom. The result is an object of art that also functions as a great display space. It's a one-of-a-kind piece that’s sure to become a family heirloom. Available for shipping in June.
