Carriage House Painting

150.00

Dimensions: 10" wide x 10" tall

I painted this Green Mountain College building on red slate using professional-quality acrylics. This one-of-a-kind painting of the Feick Arts Center, a converted carriage house, would look great in your home or office. It'd also make the perfect gift for a friend or relative. I used local red slate found only in the Poultney, Vermont area. It has great textured edges and a rich tone. I used the slate's color as the basis for the roof and painted bright colors around it. I signed the painting and applied a final coat of matte varnish to give it a slight luster and protect your investment from UV and dust. The painting hangs from a sturdy wire on the back that has been reinforced with a triangle of metal brackets to distribute the weight of the slate. The four corners are padded on the back, as well. This classic piece of Vermont art is ready to ship and hang.

Please note: This red slate painting would look great with the other two red slate paintings pictured in the final photo. You save $100 by purchasing them as a trio. Check for the separate "Trio of Paintings" listing.
