Reclaimed Poplar Pedestal

350.00

Dimensions: Top 11.5" X 11.5" by 30" tall. Base: 13.5" X 13.5".

This rustic but elegant pedestal was handmade by furniture maker Marc Deloach from reclaimed poplar that he salvaged from north Mississippi. Use it as an end table or in any nook of your home or office to display everything from lamps to sculptures to pottery, vases, or potted plants. The piece tapers from a wider base to a smaller top, giving it a firm structure and a sculpted look. The wood tones vary from caramel to espresso with a reddish tone and beautiful textures and saw marks that are original to the wood. Marc hand finished the table in a matte tung oil. He signed the piece beneath the base. It's a one-of-a-kind original, intended to be an heirloom.
