Red Fish on Reclaimed Wood

75.00

Dimensions: 11" long x 6" tall x 4" thick

Marc Deloach handmade this wood fish from barnwood he salvaged in Vermont. I, Christine Schultz, hand painted it in red and black quality acrylics. It's the perfect gift for a friend, a relative, or yourself. No two are the same. This listing is for one.

Special Features: This bright red fish has a yellow eye, lips, and gill. Her fins are black with white stripes. She's made of relatively smooth salvaged barnwood and is thick enough to set small treasures on like a shelf. I painted the four-inch thick edges to create a multi-dimensional effect. She's a real catch, ready to ship.

Hang this fish anywhere--in a dining room, kitchen, kids’ room, over a doorway or stairway, in a bathroom or bedroom, covered porch, lakehouse, or wherever you’d like a pop of color and whimsy. One is great. Groupings are even better. Check here for more fish: http://www.etsy.com/shop/TaylorArts?section_id=7670153

On the back: My husband nailed a notched metal piece over an inletted circle, so that the fish will balance flat against the wall from a single nail or screw head. It will also sit upright on a flat surface. On the back is the original reclaimed wood and my signature, Christine Schultz.

Care and handling: While these fish are fun and durable, they’re not meant as playthings for kids or to last outside directly in the weather. However, a covered porch is fine. We're happy to custom make fish. Just ask.
