White Woodblock House

45.00

Dimensions: 4.25" tall x 5.5" wide x 2.25" deep. Weighs one pound.

I handpainted this little white clapboard house on a woodblock of reclaimed cypress that my husband, Marc Deloach, salvaged from the Mississippi Delta. It's a classic piece of Southern folk art perfect for a housewarming or holiday gift or as a little happy for your favorite spot. I used professional-quality acrylic paint on a salvaged cypress block that I sanded slightly. I painted the white clapboards over a black base. The roof is red, the door brown and the windows are a glowing yellow. I signed it on the bottom. This original folk art block will add a pop of color to any shelf, windowsill, or tabletop. It's ready to ship.
